Studio Bee loves a good lifestyle session. A session that show you in your natural element. Whether it be at a local park with the kiddo, near the water at Point Woronzof or right there in the living room of your home. Get comfortable, settle in and we'll do the rest.
How it Works
Step 01
Getting comfortable
Not sure what to expect, need more details? I'm here for all that call me, text, or we can sit down in Starbucks for coffee or tea. I will cover all your concerns and questions. From Location, wardrobe/styling to posing and makeup.
Step 02
Being your beautiful selves
I love to keep it simple. You are already everything you need to be. We love natural smiles, interactions and bodies. Loud or quite, quirky or conventional, Studio Bee want you to be 100% authentically you!
Step 03
Editing your photos
Every session inspires a different feeling and no two are identical. Studio Bee completes seek peeks within 48-72 hours and full galleries within two weeks. We never alter your face or body, because we find you are absolutely stunning. You can gladly expect to see you when you get your images back.
Step 04
Choosing memories to treasure
In most cases you will be provided with additional images, to provide you the opportunity to choose the agreed upon number of images. You can always request more. Studio Bee also will provide you with the opportunity for quality prints, books and other miscellaneous items.
Your gallery will be available to you for one full year.

I want to work with you but can't afford the options you provide.No need to worry. You are not alone. Money should not mean you have to skip out on creating important memories via still images nor should it mean you have to take the lesser road. Outside of my packages Studio Bee offers monthly mini sessions and well as payment options. Reach out and Studio Bee will work to find something that works for you.

Do you travel?I will, within the state. Studio Bee is based in Anchorage, but will travel, with enough notice, to many other Alaskan cities.

What if I choose to print through someone other than Studio Bee?That's fine. With each agreement we provide a print release with you can provide to outside companies if needed for printing. We will even provide you with information to quality printing companies.

Why don't you share the session location before the day of the session?Photography is a well saturated business, with that being said I work very hard to find unique and beautiful locations. I don't want to over share information and have a location crawling with other photographers and their clients on the day of your session. I will work with you on choosing a location but will only confirm exact location no more than 24 hours prior to your session.

Do I have to sign a contract before my session and Why?Yes. Contracts protect both me and my clients during each service. It lays very clear information about what both parties can and will do during our agreement. No contract no session.

I'm booked for a session and see you just offered a similar mini session for less, can I just pay the mini session fees.No, all monthly mini sessions are advertised at the beginning of the year and those can be booked for those specific date early. Any additional mini sessions advertised can not go towards an already booked and agreed upon session. You may cancel, and risk your retainer, to book a different session.

What if I'm not comfortable being nude, can I still do a session?Yes, Yes, YES! Boudoir is not about how nude you can get. It's about acceptance and beauty. We will shoot your session in jeans and a t-shirt if you so wish. You don't have to be naked to see the beauty in your body.

Can I bring a friend for support?That will depend on your session. In some cases Studio Bee allows for one friend to sit in on the first few minutes of a session in order to give the client time to get comfortable. When booking your session it is always best to ask.
